The Moorestown Education Foundation offers two primary types of grants:

1. Excellence in Education Mini Grants

These grants are awarded  to MTPS District Staff to fund promising, innovative educational opportunities for requests up to $5,000. They are approved at specified times during the year using a streamlined review process.

2. General Grants

These grants are to fund broader District-wide or School-wide projects or initiatives that are focused on providing seed or exploratory funding for promising, innovative educational opportunities.* These grants are expected to be proposed by Principal(s) along with the Superintendent. General Grants are reviewed and approved on a case by case basis. These grants typically require more review and longer lead times for Board approval than our Excellence in Education Mini-Grants.

*Our goal is that good ideas, whose benefit is proven in pilot programs through MEF funding, be integrated into the District’s budget.
